The International Federation of Karate (IFK)
Gaëtan used to pratice Karate since 1971. He was the pupil of Saiko Shihan Shigeru Oyama during a dozen years. He participated in a dozen Knockdown competitions. It represented Canada to the second worldwide championship in Japan in 1979. He won Canadian title in 1984, on 1985 and 1986. He is the first Canadian to win champion title of the Knockdown Nord-Américain in New York in the United States on October 13th, 1985. He is named worldwide referee by Hanshi Steve Arneil during a training period in Russia. Shihan Gaëtan arbitrated the World championship IFK Knockdown which took place in Lebanon in 1999.
Gaëtan Sauvé is also writer and chronicler, he prepares a book on Aïki-verbale, The only psychological and verbal martial art at present. At the same time, he studied several psychological approaches (transpersonnal, Jungienne, transactional analysis, psycho synthesis), meditation zen, rebirth, cybernetic psycho, general semantics, hypnosis Éricksonnienne, homeopathy, Chinese energetics, naturology and various methods of expansion of conscience. He is also professor of Tai chi for 10 years and studies Iai-Do. Gaëtan Sauvé is Chief practitioner in neurolinguistic programming of the Quebec center of PNL. He unites all its knowledge on the psychology, beliefs, communication and stocks and he did intensive researches during 4 years to work out and form the first verbal and psychological martial art: l'Aïki-verbale.
